Two romantic waterfront cabins

Ucluelet, British Columbia

Home     Information     Photo Gallery

Our two cozy waterfront cabins are just a few steps down to the beach, near the mouth of Ucluelet Harbour. They are totally self-contained cabins, each with a Queen bed, kitchenette and 3-piece bathroom; one is 5 years old and the second identical cabin is now 3 years old. Just the right size for two people, they are tailor-made for the perfect romantic getaway. Privacy is respected; the cabins are on opposite corners of a half acre waterfront property.

Cabin amenities include:

* Great view, with fishboats coming and going, as well as wildlife -- sea lions hauled out on the dock nearby, a family of river otters who live under the neighbour's dock, lots of birds including Eagles, Kingfishers, herons & Stellars Jays.

* Large sundeck with 2-person jetted soaker tub, BBQ, bistro set, and privacy screen of trees.

* Nicely appointed, with all towels & linens provided. Lots of extras such as binoculars, flashlight, CDs, fresh flowers, candles, bubble bath for the soaker tub, hairdryer, etc.

* Cooking facilities include a kitchenette (stove top, fridge, sink), microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, pots & pans, dishes, cutlery and other utensils as well as the outdoor BBQ with side burner.

* TV/DVD on swivel bracket to watch from bed or nook; stereo & CD player.

* Electric fireplace with multiple settings -- flame and/or heat. The cabin is heated with a thermostat controlled electric baseboard, as well as one in the bathroom.

* Down duvet and pillows on the Queen bed, or hypo-allergenic upon request.

* Unlimited hot water -- the cabins are equipped with propane-fired hot water systems.

* Pet friendly -- rather than charge a nightly fee for pets, we ask for a once-per-stay $20 donation per pet for our local SPCA.

* 10-minute walk to town, shops, and Wild Pacific Trail.

* 10-minute drive to Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park -- we provide a park pass in each cabin to hang on your rear-view mirror so you don't need to worry about parking fees in the park from March through September.

* Bring your canoe or kayak to launch from our beach. Or take a guided kayak trip with Majestic Ocean Kayaking. You can also book a fishing charter nearby, or to see lots of wildlife and learn about the history of the area, take a Seafari tour by zodiac to the Broken Group Islands. During March, enjoy our Pacific Rim Whale Festival which celebrates the spring migration of 25,000 Grey Whales swimming past our shores.

RATES: Sept. 16 through June 14: $135 per night. June 15 through Sept. 15: $185 per night. Multiple night rates (for 4 nights or more) are available upon request. Rates include a self-catered breakfast, so we stock the cabin with juice, milk, eggs, muffins, coffee, tea, margarine, peanut butter, jam, hot chocolate, and basic condiments.

CHECK IN / OUT POLICIES: Check in time is 3:00. Please call us that morning at 250-726-8255 with an approximate arrival time so one of us can be here to greet you. If you will be arriving after dark please advise us and we'll leave your cabin open and catch up with you the next day. Check out time is noon.

PAYMENT: All rates are subject to GST of 5%. A credit card number is required to hold your reservation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Travellers Cheques or cash; no debit cards or personal cheques.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations affect us significantly because of our small size; last minute cancellations do not give us time to rebook the cabin. Cancellations 7 days or less prior to arrival, or unscheduled early departures are subject to a fee of one night's room charge plus tax.

DAMAGE: We reserve the right to charge guests for damage done to the room or equipment during their stay. We have a no-smoking policy in the cabins; if the cabin smells of smoke we will charge your credit card $75 for extra time and cleaning required.

OTHER POLICIES: We are an adult-oriented property, but babies and very small children can be accommodated provided parents bring a bassinette or bedding. There is a minimum 2-night stay year-round, but we can sometimes accommodate a 1-night stay between bookings, so please enquire.
